The Iron Plainsmen have transitioned into competition mode as the San Antonio competition approaches. All of the team members are completing the required hours to be on the team that goes! This week has been full of tireless work to ensure they are as prepared as possible for the challenges ahead.

This Saturday, February 28th, was almost entirely dedicated to driver practice, allowing the team to refine their skills and communication on the field, as well as spot new problems they can fix in the robot. In addition to driver practice, significant progress was made on the robot's climbing mechanism, which is now officially capable of climbing to level 1 consistently.

On Monday, March 2nd, the Iron Plainsmen, while still focusing on driving practice, shifted their attention to producing extra parts for the robot and double-checking that they would have extras in case of any scenario.

Today, March 3rd, the Iron Plainsmen took on the task of improving the intake once more by completely disassembling and reassembling it. This direct approach led to numerous improvements, as the team continued to optimize performance and efficiency.

As final preparations unfold, the team cannot wait for the competition next weekend! The Iron Plainsmen are ready to face whatever challenges come their way in San Antonio!
