These past three days, from February 18th to February 20th, the Iron Plainsmen team has made continued progress in their preparations for the upcoming competition. The team has been dedicated to refining their robot and attending to every detail.
On Wednesday, the team completed the battery mount and moved to optimize weight distribution and accessibility. The team then continued manufacturing space parts, as well as working to remake the intake sides. Finally, the team continued producing buttons to give out during the upcoming competition.
On Thursday, the team's focus shifted to the construction of the hopper in the polycarb. Then they continued to refine the shooter mechanism to ensure accuracy. Next, they checked that all the bearings were in place. Finally, the team wired the motors and made even more buttons.
On Friday, the team finished the construction of the hopper in the polycarb. They continued to manufacture spare parts and took the time to organize them. Additionally, the team worked on remaking the intake sides to accommodate the movement of the motor.
With just a little over three weeks til the competition in San Antonio, the Iron Plainsmen Robotics team is making steady progress every day. They continue to adapt and improve the robot diligently.
