Daily Brief

Today, March 6th, the Iron Plainsmen Robotics team primarily focused on driver practice and organizing materials that will soon be packed onto the travel trailer. The MMA team continued daily documentation and manufacturing buttons. The Iron Plainsmen Robotics team also received funds from one of their sponsors and reached out to the company to say thank you. In conclusion, the team is extremely excited to travel to San Antonio next week and compete in week three of REEFSCAPE®!


Narrowed Overview


The Manufacturing & Design Team


The Manufacturing & Design team exclusively practiced driving the robot in preparation for upcoming driver tryouts this Saturday. The team looks forward to announcing this season's official drivers soon!


The Programming Team


The Programming team did not have any tasks today however, members did have to correct a mistake that was made yesterday regarding the code for the elevator. It was an easy fix and for the remainder of practice, the Programming team participated in drive practice.


The Marketing, Media, & Awards Team


The MMA team's primary focus today was manufacturing buttons to prepare for competition. Team captains recruited members to help with the process which will make the process faster and more efficient. Additionally, the team received funds from a long-time sponsor and reached out to express their gratitude. The MMA team will continue to gather all judge's materials and pack them up for competition.
