Daily Brief


Today, February 5th, the Iron Plainsmen Robotics team started the day with a team meeting to discuss goals for the day. The whole team ensured that they completed the demographics form that the MMA team set up. Then, when the team split into groups, the Manufacturing & Design team assisted the Programming team in their tasks for the day. The Programming team focused on refining mechanism's code and improving the robot's alignment. They also worked on CAD designs. The MMA team continued updating the Business Plan and Safety Manual, as well as doing the daily documentation and touching up details on Awards. In total, the Iron Plainsmen Robotics team is getting fired up more and more as competition season starts to close in!

The Manufacturing & Design Team


The Manufacturing & Design team began the day by checking that they had all done the demographics form that the MMA team put out. Afterward, they moved to the shop to assist the Programming team and work on CAD designs.


The Programming Team


The Programming team started the day by completing the demographics form. After, they continued progressing on dialing in mechanisms. Then, they labored to make the robot center on AprilTags more smoothly. Finally, they began developing code for the climber and taught students about how this developing process works.


The Marketing, Media, & Awards Team


The MMA team focused on updating the Business Plan, refurbishing the Safety Manual, and advancing on Awards such as the Dean's List Award today. They are currently waiting for all members of the team to finish the demographics form so that they can add the information to the Business Plan. Finally, they completed the daily documentation for the day.
