Daily Brief

Today, January 16th, the Iron Plainsmen Robotics team began the day by ensuring that everyone who hadn't completed their rules test would be finished by today. The team continued to study the game manual and honed in on the specific rules that have been changed since last year's competition. All materials that were ordered have been delivered: giving team members full freedom to manufacture all mechanisms and components of the robot. The Manufacturing team resumed prototyping the elevator mechanism and assembling the drivetrain. Additionally, members made motor mounts for various components. The Programming Team carried on with Limelight detection and programming the radio on swerve bot two. The MMA team began writing the Woodie Flowers essay over a longtime mentor and role model and will allocate more attention to completing it now that the deadline is near. Additionally, the team generated button designs for this year's competition. Overall, the Iron Plainsmen Robotics has made immense progress since the beginning of the season and continues to advance every day!
