Narrowed Overview

The Manufacturing & Design Team

The Manufacturing & Design team started the day by progressing further on the test robot version 1. Simultaneously, they took great strides toward the completion of the elevator arm and began attaching motors to the mechanism. Unfortunately, the team had to replace the CNC controller which was a setback in manufacturing parts. They managed to quickly overcome this problem, but are still concerned about where the issue originated. Nonetheless, they are optimistic about what they can complete this week!

The Programming Team

The Programming Team began the day by completing the radio for the swerve bot. Shortly after finishing that, they made significant advancements in AprilTag alignment. They are now able to center on the AprilTags and move to them. The next step is to make the robot stop at the correct time. The team is currently hoping to resolve this issue by the end of the week.

The Marketing, Media, & Awards Team

The MMA team started the day by posting a thank you to the team's sponsor, Optimum, for their generous contributions; Similarly, they posted a shout-out to Tim Glover from One Off Custom Fabrication for fabricating gussets for the robot. After they had completed this, they began their daily documentation and narrowed down the options for the Dean's List Award nominees. The team is currently envisaging future plans for awards this season!
